sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yubico/stable sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libpam-u2f

can be used to enable passkey and u2f support on some linux distros. But there are issues when creating accounts in terms of UX. Can we come up with a way to be able to just enable it as a feature in the passwords and security tab, maybe? and do the same thing we do with passwords and give the admin the option of assigning the credential now or on first login with a temp password on account creation. currently, this must be done manually. Admins should also be able to decide where u2f (or a passkey) is required. it would also be nice to support totp.
